Our final day at Kilvrough! We did beach art and rock pooling at Langland Bay followed by lunch and hot squash. We really have had a brilliant week together. The children’s resilience, teamwork and determination improved as the week went on. From serving each other at dinner, to abseiling down cliff faces, the children have kept smiling and learnt lots about themselves.
Today we had an amazing walk to Worms Head Island (the most Westerly Point of The Gower) across the causeway and up onto the ridge. All of the groups were together and it was lovely to see the children working together to navigate the tricky terrain. The scenery was beautiful, it was challenging and the children even saw an octopus in the rock pools!
Group C and D loved their day body boarding today! As these photos show, the day was full of smiles!
Today, group A and B had a go at rock climbing and abseiling. All of the children had a go and showed so much courage and resilience.
Den building and hot chocolate round the fire.
Groups C and D have enjoyed abseiling and rock climbing today. Lots of resilience and bravery being shown!
Groups A and B have had an amazing day bodyboarding at Caswell Bay. We enjoyed November sunshine, lunch on the beach and hours of fun in the sea in our wetsuits!
We’ve arrived safely at Kilvrough! We had a brilliant afternoon of team building activities in our activity groups for the week followed by orienteering this evening. All children are now tucked up in bed!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
